Before You Pay
Before making any payment to IH Milano, we wish to advise you of several points.
- All payments for teacher training courses should be made in euros.
- No payment should be made by any applicant until a letter of acceptance has been issued by IH Milano confirming the applicant's place on a course, at which time a deposit payment of one third of the total amount is payable. Once paid, deposits are non-refundable.
- A place on a course cannot be confirmed until a deposit has been paid. Each course has a maximum number of 12-15 trainees. The order of precedence for enrolment is based on the date of receipt of the deposit of 30% of the total cost of the course; payments received from applicants who have not yet been accepted on the course will not be considered when establishing the order of precedence. On enrolment the applicant undertakes to pay the full amount of the course, at the set deadlines, even if he/she then withdraws from the course.
- Once a deposit has been paid, the candidate's place on the course is guaranteed up until the date at which the balance payment is due, at least 2 weeks before the start date.
Failure to make the balance payment will ultimately result in forfeiture of the place.
- The following conditions apply in the case of cancellation, to be communicated in writing,:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the start of the course: the participant loses the deposit.
- Cancellation between 29 and 15 days before the start of the course: the participant must pay 80% of the balance
- Cancellation less than 14 days before the start of the course or withdrawal once the course has started: the participant must pay the full amount of the course.
- International House reserves the right not to start a course if a minimum number of 8 participants is not reached. All deposits and fees will be refunded in the event of a course being cancelled and if subsequent courses are not suitable for the candidate.
- The trainers, who follow refresher courses and are annually monitored by the International House World Organization and/or Cambridge Esol, have full discretion over admission to courses.
- Attendance is compulsory.
- Candidates are urged to understand that there is a risk of failing and that in such an event, no money can be returned.
- The Management is not responsible for objects left unattended on the school premises.
- The Court of Milan has exclusive jurisdiction in the case of disputes.
